The rooms themselves are well-designed for the space constraints of midtown — everything has its place, and the bathrooms are surprisingly spacious for New York standards. The soundproofing is decent too, which matters when you’re this close to the action.

They’ve got the continental spread covered, but I was impressed with their gluten-free options — not always a given in hotels, even good ones. The buffet style means you can grab what you need and get going, which honestly fits the New York pace perfectly. If you’re more of a coffee-and-pastry person, there are about fifteen great spots within a three-block radius, but having the hotel option when you want something substantial is really convenient.
