It’s not flashy or trying too hard — just this clean, modern vibe that feels both sophisticated and welcoming. The four-star property sits in a residential area that honestly surprised me with how quiet it was, considering you’re still in Newark. The staff greeted us like they actually wanted us there, which you know isn’t always a given.

Location & Neighborhood

Here’s what I love about this spot — it’s got that perfect balance where you’re not stuck in the middle of tourist chaos, but you’re not stranded either. Watson Avenue itself is pretty residential, lined with those classic Newark brownstones that give the area character. You’re actually close enough to downtown that getting around isn’t a hassle, and I noticed quite a few local spots within walking distance that felt authentic rather than touristy. The recent guests weren’t kidding when they rated the location a 9.7 — there’s something about being in a real neighborhood that just hits different.

The Room Experience

The room we stayed in was honestly better than I expected from the photos online. Clean lines, comfortable bedding, and — this might sound small but it matters — really good lighting for getting ready. The windows are generous, so you get plenty of natural light during the day, and the whole space feels bigger than it probably is. I mean, it’s not enormous, but they’ve used the space well. The bathroom was modern and functional, with one of those rainfall showerheads that actually works properly.

What Makes It Special

You know what really stood out? The attention to detail without being fussy about it. There’s this understated elegance throughout the property that feels genuine rather than forced. The common areas have this relaxed sophistication — comfortable seating, good music playing softly, the kind of place where you’d actually want to hang out for a bit. I noticed they’ve clearly put thought into creating spaces where couples can just… be together without feeling like they’re on display. The whole property has maybe 20 units or so, which means it never feels crowded or impersonal.

After spending time here, I totally get why couples rate this place so highly. It’s got that sweet spot of being polished enough to feel special but relaxed enough that you’re not walking on eggshells. The neighborhood gives you a real sense of place — you’re experiencing Newark as locals do, not just passing through. Plus, with that 8.9 rating, you know other guests have consistently had good experiences.   This property was laid out from the front to the back from top to bottom. I really liked the fact that they gave us a tour an showed us every amenity that they had from the coffee machine to the popcorn machine and snacks left in the gameroom downstairs was phenomenal the 85 inch tv accented this room so well the speakers and surround sound gave a movie theater effect we had a large group of 10 they had everything to accommodate us from tooth brushes and paste to wash cloths and towels we needed nothing the kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast for ten including every season you can think of ice water candy snacks and drinks i cant wait to revisit

  To najwspanialszy apartament jaki kiedykolwiek wynajmowałem przez booking. Jest bardzo komfortowy, nowy z wszelkiego rodzaju udogodnieniami dla mieszkańców. Ponadto znajduje się w bliskiej odległości od przystanku autobusowego, gdzie linią 107 możemy dojechać bezpośrednio na Manhattan. Spędziliśmy tutaj kilka dni jako grupa 10 osób. Polecam wszystkim!
