The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d expect from a well-run three-star place. Clean lines, comfortable bed, and everything worked properly (you know how sometimes the little things don’t quite function right in hotels?). The windows are decent-sized, so you get good natural light during the day. Long Island City has this interesting mix going on — you’ve got these sleek new apartment buildings next to old warehouses that have been converted into art studios and trendy spots. Walking around in the evening, especially down toward the waterfront, you get some of the best views of the Manhattan skyline without the Manhattan prices. There’s this whole strip along the water where people jog and hang out, and it actually feels peaceful. The area around the hotel has a few solid restaurant options too, though you’re not exactly in a dining destination — more like a real neighborhood where people actually live.

  Best place for the value for money to stay. The hotel doesn’t look fancy from outside but in terms on service ans quality of cleanliness and breakfast its a 10/10 place to stay. Its also quite close (3mins walking) to the metro station that takes to the heart of the NYC and almost anywhere nearby.

  The rooms were big and the bed was huge and comfy. The staff were friendly and the breakfast included was great. Was really useful to be able to store baggage before check in and after check out too. Location was convenient for us too with a subway station 5 min walk away with direct routes to Times Square etc.
