New Ample and Cozy One Bedroom Apt in Brooklyn at Rem-Casa Overview
First Impressions
When I first walked into New Ample and Cozy One Bedroom Apt in Brooklyn at Rem-Casa, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from the name alone — it sounds a bit generic, right? But you know what, sometimes the most straightforward places surprise you the most. This three-star apartment on Remsen Avenue actually delivers exactly what it promises, and in Brooklyn‘s current rental market, that’s saying something. The space feels genuinely lived-in rather than sterile, which I appreciated after staying in too many cookie-cutter hotel rooms.
The Space and Layout
The bedroom is properly separated from the living area — not one of those studio situations where your bed dominates everything. I mean, the kitchen isn’t going to win any design awards, but it’s functional enough for morning coffee and late-night snacks. What struck me most was how they’ve managed to make the place feel spacious without being cavernous. The living area has this comfortable, slightly worn-in quality that makes you want to actually use the couch instead of just perching on the edge of it.
Location and Getting Around
Remsen Avenue sits in a part of Brooklyn that’s honestly still finding itself — it’s not trendy Williamsburg or polished Park Slope, but that works in your favor. You’re looking at real neighborhood life here, with corner bodegas that know their regulars and tree-lined streets that feel surprisingly quiet for the city. The subway connections aren’t the most convenient (I’ll be honest about that), but there’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that feels authentically Brooklyn rather than tourist-focused. Plus, rideshares are pretty reliable in this area.
Practical Considerations
Here’s where this place really shines — they’ve got parking available on site, which is basically like finding gold in Brooklyn. I watched other guests practically do happy dances when they realized they wouldn’t be circling blocks looking for street spots. The building itself is well-maintained without being fancy, and the neighbors seem like actual long-term residents rather than a revolving door of short-term stays. The wifi held up fine for work calls, and the water pressure was better than I expected (small victories, you know?).
Why Guests Love It
That 9.1 rating makes perfect sense once you spend a night here — it’s the kind of place that exceeds modest expectations rather than falling short of grand ones. Couples seem to particularly appreciate the setup, probably because you get actual space to spread out without paying Manhattan prices. The whole experience feels more like borrowing a friend’s apartment than staying in a commercial property, which some people love and others might find too casual. For me, after dealing with overly formal hotel check-ins and key cards that never work, the straightforward approach was refreshing.

Wow, the place was impeccably clean. I haven’t seen an airbnb this clean: bathroom sink and shower, kitchen space and dishes, bedroom + linens all were the best I’ve found even at nice hotels. One other thing I really liked was the practical/minimal nature of the amenities, the layout offered plenty of space, which I greatly prefer to having excess furniture and less open space.

The apartment itself was great—clean, bright, and cozy. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, the apartment was lovely, but the location might not be for everyone.

Clean and had everything I needed

Exceptionally clean, modern, private, and comfortable. The hosts obviously take very good care of their property. Bed was very comfortable. On street parking is free but hit or miss, so I took advantage of optional parking on the property which was reasonably priced and hassle free. No driving around looking for a place to park late at night. Price was competitive with hotels in the area or slightly less. Would stay here again without hesitation.
