The staff at check-in is pretty straightforward, no unnecessary small talk, which I appreciate when you’re dragging luggage through Midtown traffic. The lobby’s got this modern, slightly industrial vibe that works well… sort of matches the energy of the neighborhood, you know?

Here’s the thing about staying here – you’re walking distance to Grand Central (maybe 10 minutes if you’re not rushing), Bryant Park is right there, and honestly, the subway access is what sold me. The 4/5/6 trains at Grand Central, plus you’ve got the B/D/F/M at 42nd if you need to head downtown or to Brooklyn. I’ve noticed the street can get a bit noisy during rush hour – those delivery trucks start early – but by evening it settles down pretty nicely. The neighborhood’s got character too; there’s this great little deli on the corner that the locals actually use, and you’ll find yourself walking past the same dog walkers and commuters every morning. It’s not the fanciest spot in the city, and the 7.4 rating feels about right – it’s solid, does what it needs to do, but you’re not paying for marble bathrooms or a rooftop bar. What you are paying for is being able to walk to work meetings in Midtown, grab late-night food without taking a cab, and actually feel like you’re staying in New York rather than some generic hotel bubble.

  Clean just renewed place with all necessary kitchen equipment, good location in the center of downtown and laundry and mini market just in front of the residence.

  Room is okay for few nights and especially for single traveler. The location is excellent as it is just 5 to 10mins walk to Time Square. Breakfast is basic and staff are accomodating.

  Staff was excellent, however parking was expensive and there was no fitness center. Location was fantastic though, easy access to subways, Bryant Park is right around the corner and times square as well. My kids and I had a lovely stay
