The Parc Hotel Overview
First Impressions
Honestly, The Parc Hotel caught me off guard in the best way possible. You know what I wasn’t expecting in Flushing? A three-star hotel that actually gets the basics right and then some. The moment you walk into the lobby, there’s this sense that someone here actually cares about the guest experience — it’s not flashy, but it’s thoughtful in ways that matter. The attention to detail throughout the property shows a genuine commitment to making your stay pleasant and stress-free.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s the thing about College Point Boulevard — it’s one of those spots that locals know but tourists often miss. You’re genuinely close to everything that makes Queens interesting, from authentic dim sum spots to Flushing Meadows Corona Park (yes, where the US Open happens). The parking situation is actually handled well here, which anyone who’s driven in NYC will tell you is basically a miracle. I mean, having your own spot without the usual city hassles? That alone saves you stress and money. The location also provides excellent access to public transportation, making it easy to explore the broader area.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable — nothing revolutionary, but everything worked properly. The beds are decent quality, and honestly, after walking around Queens all day, that’s what you need. What I appreciated was the attention to small details, like having enough outlets near the bed and blackout curtains that actually block light. You can tell they’ve thought about what travelers actually want versus what looks good in photos. The furnishings are practical and well-maintained, creating a welcoming atmosphere for rest and relaxation.
Breakfast & Dining
The buffet breakfast is surprisingly solid for a hotel in this category. They’ve got the usual suspects — eggs, bacon, pastries — but also some options that nod to the neighborhood’s diversity. I actually found myself looking forward to it, which doesn’t happen often with hotel breakfasts. The restaurant area gets busy around 8 AM, so if you’re an early riser like me, you’ll have more space and fresher options. The quality of ingredients and preparation reflects the hotel’s commitment to guest satisfaction.
Why Guests Love It
There’s something to be said for a place that keeps people coming back — and apparently, this hotel has more repeat guests than most others in the area. After staying here, I get it. It’s not trying to be something it’s not, but what it does, it does well. The staff seems to remember faces, the location gives you easy access to both Manhattan and the authentic Queens experience, and you’re not paying Manhattan prices for the privilege. Couples especially seem to appreciate the quieter vibe compared to the chaos of Midtown, while still being connected to everything through the nearby subway stops. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, this hotel delivers genuine value and comfort.
New York’s hotels wrap guests in art-filled lobbies, jazz lounges, and concierge-led borough food tours.

My stay was short -from midnight to 7am next day as had a flight to catch so cannot in all honesty give a complete review of my stay. The guys at the reception were very warm and receptive -Tan and Kelvin i believe. Tan exhibited his professional skills in explaining why my earlier booking was cancelled . Loved the window views from the suite on the 11th floor. Had looked forward to going to the roof top for the views and seeing the various planes pass over the hotel on their landing path to Laguardia Airport. Hotel close to Skyview shopping mall and the flushing train station is of workable distance. Close to so many restaurants-chinese, korean ,japanese etc
