You’re golden. Flying out of LaGuardia or JFK? The subway connections from Grand Central make it way less stressful than being stuck in Midtown West traffic. And if you’re here on business, being able to walk to most Midtown East meetings is honestly priceless. The neighborhood has some solid food options too – there’s this little Korean place on 41st that’s become my go-to, and the food court in Grand Central itself is actually pretty decent for quick bites.

Is it perfect? No. The elevators are slow during rush hour, and the fitness center is pretty basic. The 7.4 rating feels about right – it’s not going to blow you away, but it does what it promises to do really well. If you’re looking for a spa weekend or Instagram-worthy rooftop vibes, look elsewhere. But if you want a solid base for actually experiencing New York, with staff who know their stuff and a location that makes the city feel manageable, this place delivers.
