The location of the hotel is excellent. It’s a stone’s throw from the High line, Whitney Museum and the West Village, our favorite area in NYC. The staff was very kind and welcoming. We loved the old movie star theme with vintage movie posters.

Amazing long-ish stay at Chelsea Pines Inn. I will definitely stay there again whenever I’m in NYC. Location is excellent, almost unbeatable: metro at the doorstop (and it is the one that goes directly to JFK), two blocks away from the river,great near neighborhoods for food and cool shops.. The staff is very friendly and attentive. There is complimentary coffee during the morning and a nice shared kitchen and patio. The single room is quite small, but nothing that bothers a solo traveler.
