  We had issues with a sliding glass door in our room that wouldn’t lock and a phone that didn’t work and the staff took care of it immediately and switched our room within 15 minutes of us notifying them of the issues. The location of this hotel is perfect and makes it easy to get to the tourist “hot spots” of the city. This is our second time staying at this hotel and will be the hotel we continue to stay at when we visit the city.

  For the price point of most NYC lodging, this is a great deal. Bed was comfortable, room is clean, and shower is nice. Shockingly, the room was very quiet — easy to sleep in. Bonus points for location — while its not my favorite neighborhood to hang out in, the hotel is right off the 6 train, making it convenient both for uptown museums, as well as Brooklyn. Its a very short walk to Union Square, and a medium/long but nice walk to Chelsea (or a short bus ride). Also, the staff were very friendly and generous with their time.
