The room I stayed in was compact but thoughtfully designed — very much what you’d expect from a well-managed New York hotel. You’re not getting sprawling suites here, but everything you need is within arm’s reach, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable for a mid-range property. The windows actually open (a rarity in many hotels), and if you’re lucky enough to get a higher floor, you’ll catch glimpses of the city that remind you why you came to New York in the first place.

Neighborhood Perks

What I really appreciate about staying here is how you’re positioned for both tourist must-sees and actual New York experiences. Sure, you can walk to Broadway shows and all that, but you’re also near some genuinely good restaurant options that locals frequent — not just the tourist traps. The deli on the corner makes a solid breakfast sandwich if you want to skip hotel dining, and there’s decent coffee within a block in any direction. Parking in this area is typically Manhattan-expensive, so I’d honestly recommend skipping the car entirely.
