The beds are genuinely comfortable, which matters more than you’d think after walking 20,000 steps around the city. The bathrooms are sleek, good water pressure, and they’ve got those thick towels that make you feel like less of a tourist. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night; you get some street noise because it’s still New York, but nothing like what you’d deal with closer to Times Square.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to feel like you’re in the real New York without being completely overwhelmed. You’re walking distance to Grand Central – super handy if you’re doing any day trips or need the subway connections. Bryant Park is right there too, which is lovely in decent weather and has that little seasonal market in winter. The Murray Hill neighborhood itself is sort of residential-meets-business district, so you’ve got actual New Yorkers around, not just tourists with selfie sticks. There are solid coffee places within a block or two (essential), and you’re close enough to Koreatown that you can grab incredible late-night food if jet lag hits you weird. Parking is typical Manhattan nightmare stuff, but honestly, you don’t need a car here anyway. The whole Midtown East area is walkable to most of what you probably want to see, and when it’s not, you’ve got subway access that actually makes sense. I’d definitely stay here again – it strikes that sweet spot between feeling like a proper hotel experience and not being so fancy that you’re afraid to come back sweaty from sightseeing.
