But here’s what’s smart: the rooms are surprisingly quiet considering you’re on Broadway. I stayed on the 12th floor facing the street and yeah, you hear some of the city rumble, but it’s not the honking nightmare you’d expect. The windows are solid, and honestly, falling asleep to that distant New York hum isn’t terrible. The rooms themselves have this clean, minimalist thing going on – not trying to be boutique-fancy, just comfortable and functional with some nice touches like really good lighting and outlets everywhere you actually need them.

The staff genuinely knows their stuff about the area, which matters more than you’d think when you’re dealing with first-time visitors asking about subway lines and show times every five minutes. They’ll steer you toward the 7 train entrance that’s less of a clusterfuck than the main Times Square station, and they actually have decent restaurant recommendations that aren’t just the tourist traps downstairs. Speaking of downstairs – the whole Broadway and 47th intersection is basically controlled chaos, but you’re right there for everything. Hell’s Kitchen is a quick walk west if you want actual good food, and getting to Central Park or the High Line is pretty straightforward from here. The hotel parking situation is what you’d expect in Midtown (translation: expensive), but honestly, if you’re staying in Times Square, you probably shouldn’t have a car anyway. One thing I appreciated – check-in was smooth even during the afternoon rush when half the theater district seems to be moving around. They’ve got the logistics figured out, which isn’t always a given in this neighborhood. It’s not going to be the most authentic New York experience you could have, but if you want to be in the thick of things with a place that actually delivers on comfort and service, this works really well.

  Smallish room (16m) but perfectly designed. Great bed, fantastic bathroom. Right on Times Square but inner-facing room was amazingly quiet. Remotely operated night (opaque) and day (translucent) blinds. Surface for suitcase PLUS some storage.

  I like the rooms but they were a lil small. For the price of the corner room I’d say it’s worth it but consider it not having a closet or somewhere to place your bags.
  Overall it’s right in time square, the charge a fee for the fact that the hotel is in time square. It was overall a good experience, staff was very helpful when I asked for a room upgrade, I wish they would’ve had applied military discount but since I booked through this app they couldn’t do it. Very clean, I recommend.
