The rooms are compact – I mean, it’s New York, so adjust expectations accordingly – but they’ve maximized every inch really cleverly. The bathroom surprised me with how spacious it felt, and the shower pressure was actually decent, which… if you’ve stayed in enough city hotels, you know that’s not always a given.

Here’s the thing about the location that sold me: you’re close enough to everything that matters, but far enough from Times Square that you won’t hate your life. Penn Station is maybe a ten-minute walk, which is clutch if you’re doing day trips or catching trains. The Korea Town action on 32nd is right there – seriously, some of the best late-night food options you’ll find in the city. And honestly, being near Herald Square means you can walk to most places instead of dealing with subway delays, but you’re not stuck in the middle of the shopping madness unless you want to be. The neighborhood gets quiet at night, which is rare for this part of town. I slept really well, and the windows do a solid job of keeping street noise to a minimum. It’s not a luxury property – the 4-star rating is pretty accurate – but it feels considered and comfortable in a way that a lot of boutique hotels try for and miss. The kind of place where you’d actually want to hang out in the lobby with a coffee, you know?

  Location is perfect, walkable distance (15-25 min) to NYC touristic attractions. Also, the subway station is in 1 min walking. Room was bigger than we expected for the money paid. Nice hotel, friendly stuff.

  The hotel is placed in a very good area which right in the center, but you are still away from the big noise of the city. The hotel has decent size rooms, with good amnesties. the staff is very helpful and they will go beyond to ensure you have a good stay in the hotel. it is also very clean, they have a very nice coffee shop downstairs (which is very popular), and there is also a bar with an excellent bartender.
