Tuscany by LuxUrban Overview
Honestly, when I first walked into Tuscany by LuxUrban on 39th Street, I wasn’t expecting much – I mean, Murray Hill isn’t exactly where you think “boutique charm,” right? But this place actually surprised me. The lobby has this warm, residential feel that’s way more inviting than those sterile Midtown towers, and you can tell they put thought into making it feel less corporate hotel, more like staying at a well-appointed friend’s place (if your friend happened to have really good taste and a cleaning service).
The location is one of those things that grows on you. You’re not in the thick of Times Square chaos, which honestly is a blessing – you can actually walk down the street without dodging selfie sticks and Elmo costumes. But you’re still close enough that Grand Central is like a ten-minute walk, and there’s something satisfying about being able to hop on the 6 train without the tourist crowds. The neighborhood has that authentic New York residential vibe during the day, with actual New Yorkers grabbing coffee and walking their dogs, then it gets pretty quiet at night. I slept better here than I did at places right in the heart of everything, you know what I mean?
What I really appreciated were the little details that show someone was paying attention. The rooms aren’t huge – this is Manhattan, after all – but they’re laid out smart, and the bathrooms are actually functional (I can’t tell you how many “luxury” hotels I’ve stayed at where you can barely turn around in the shower). The beds are legitimately comfortable, not just piled high with decorative pillows that you have to move every night. And here’s something specific: the windows actually open, which is rarer than you’d think in newer hotels. On cooler evenings, I loved having fresh air instead of recycled AC. The Wi-Fi works reliably too, which matters if you’re trying to get any work done or just want to stream something without buffering every five minutes. Look, the 7.4 rating tells the real story – it’s solid without being perfect, comfortable without being flashy, and honestly, sometimes that’s exactly what you want when you’re exploring the city all day and just need a good base camp that won’t break the bank or overwhelm you with unnecessary fuss.

The room is big, comfortable and clean. The staff are helpful. They were able to keep my luggage before my checkin. They also allowed me to checkin 20 mins earlier than my checkin time.

We had a great stay at the Tuscany hotel.
1. Location is perfect it is a 2 block walk to grand central station which brought us anywhere we needed to go in just a few minutes, it is also located in a quiet enough neighbourhood so heard next to nothing in our room which we enjoyed at night. Tons of good restaurants close to the hotel we spent so many nights in a pub called The Junction one block away along with Park Tavern Restaurant, house of lasagne and The Shakespeare.
2. Big room for the price, nicely decorated, great shower and super comfy bed.
3. Very friendly staff, cleaning staff always so warm and kind in the morning.Irene from United States (7/10)
