Millennium Premier New York Times Square Overview

First Impressions

Walking into the Millennium Premier New York Times Square, you’re immediately struck by how they’ve managed to create this calm, sophisticated atmosphere right in the middle of all the Broadway chaos. The lobby has this refined, contemporary feel — not flashy or trying too hard, just genuinely upscale in a way that makes you feel like you’ve made a smart choice. I mean, when you’re staying literally steps from Times Square, you expect some level of tourist madness, but this four-star property somehow keeps that energy at bay once you’re inside.

Location That Actually Delivers

Honestly, the location is pretty much unbeatable if you want to be in the thick of things. You’re on West 44th Street, which puts you within a two-minute walk of Times Square, but — and this is key — you’re just far enough away that you’re not dealing with the constant street performers and crowds right outside your door. The theater district is right there (I could see three different Broadway marquees from my room), and you know what’s really nice? Grand Central and Penn Station are both easily walkable, so you don’t need to stress about getting around the city or catching trains out of town.

The Room Experience

The rooms are what I’d call thoughtfully designed — they’re not huge by any means, but they use the space really well. Everything feels clean and modern without being sterile, and the beds are actually comfortable (which, let’s be honest, isn’t always a given in Manhattan hotels). The bathrooms are compact but well-appointed, and I appreciated having a proper work area since I needed to catch up on some emails. The soundproofing is surprisingly good too — I was expecting to hear every siren and honking cab, but the street noise was minimal even facing the busier side.

Practical Perks

One thing that sets this place apart is they offer private parking, which is honestly a game-changer if you’re driving into the city — most hotels in this area either don’t have parking at all or charge astronomical rates. The breakfast situation is grab-and-go style, which works perfectly when you’re trying to maximize your sightseeing time. It’s not a fancy sit-down affair, but the quality is solid and you can actually get out the door quickly to start exploring.

Why Guests Love It

What really makes this hotel work is how it balances accessibility with comfort — you get that prime Times Square location without feeling like you’re staying in a tourist trap. Couples especially seem to love it here, and I can see why. There’s something romantic about being able to walk to a Broadway show, grab dinner in Little Italy or Koreatown, then come back to a genuinely nice room where you can actually relax. The staff knows the neighborhood inside and out too, so they’re great for restaurant recommendations that go beyond the obvious tourist spots. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re experiencing the real New York energy without sacrificing comfort.

Apartments in New York suit remote creatives with sunlit studios, editing bays, and co-working rooftops.

Reviews of Millennium Premier New York Times Square

  • Leanne from New Zealand (8/10)

Location location location – super close to everything: restaurants, theatres, stores, subway. The room was as I expected. A good size with all the basic amenities. Compliments to house cleaning who did a wonderful job, also really efficient and unassuming. The reception staff and bell hop were courteous and really helpful booking my taxi and with my luggage. My room was right next to the lifts and there was some noise from people in the corridor and a little bit of noise from the elevator in the bathroom, but nothing obtrusive. Overall the hotel felt safe.

The hotel is mere steps from the center of Times Square. Of my multiple trips to NYC, this is the closest I have stayed to the heart of Times Square. The staff were friendly and the room itself was clean and comfortable. My son and I slept well. After visiting local attractions, each day, we returned to a clean room with trash removed and clean towels in the bathroom.

Excellent location. Big and clean room with decent facilities. New bottles of water daily. Decent breakfast to takeaway with you.

The heat was not working and water was running in the toilet in room#2124. Reported it the first day and was not taking care off.

  • Joseph from United States (7/10)

Great location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice and decent size for NYC. The gym is pretty nice, especially if all the machines are working. Elevators are actually relatively quick
