The couples who stay here really get it (they rate the location a solid 9.0), because you can stroll to the waterfront parks, catch a show in the Theater District with a quick subway ride, or just wander the quiet, tree-lined streets that feel worlds away from Times Square chaos.

The rooms here are genuinely impressive — floor-to-ceiling windows that frame either the Hudson River or the city skyline, depending on which side you’re on. What struck me most was the attention to detail: marble bathrooms with soaking tubs, custom furnishings that actually look comfortable (not just pretty), and those beds everyone raves about. CUT by Wolfgang Puck on the ground floor is actually a destination in itself — the steaks are phenomenal, and the wine list is serious business.   The Four Seasons New York Downtown is a great hotel. The hotel bar is nice and the in-house restaurant "CUT" by Wolfgang Puck is excellent. The rooms are nice and neat and the beds are as usual for Four Seasons very comfortable. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful.

  I must say, Four Seasons is our favorite hotel out of the three we stayed at during our visit to New York. The staff were warm and welcoming with smiles. The food was delicious. I will definitely recommend it to friends.
