The living areas feel like someone’s well-appointed apartment rather than a sterile hotel room, and there’s something refreshing about having space to spread out your stuff without everything living on the bathroom counter. The decor leans contemporary without being cold – lots of warm woods and comfortable seating that you’d actually want to hang out in. What really struck me was how quiet it stays despite being in Manhattan; the 64th Street location means you’re off the main tourist drag but close enough to pop over to Central Park (literally a two-block walk to the entrance near the zoo).

Check-in was smooth – no drama, which I always appreciate after dealing with flights and taxis. The staff actually knows the neighborhood well, too. When I asked about good breakfast spots that weren’t total tourist traps, they pointed me toward a little place on 63rd that locals actually frequent, not just the obvious chain spots. Parking is… well, it’s Manhattan, so don’t expect miracles, but there are decent garage options nearby if you’re driving in. The whole place maintains that sweet spot between professional service and not being overly stuffy – you can wear jeans in the lobby without feeling underdressed, but it’s polished enough that you’d be comfortable bringing clients or parents here. With an 8.4 rating, it’s clearly doing something right, and honestly, I get it. It’s one of those places where the details work in your favor – good water pressure, reliable wifi, blackout curtains that actually block the city light, and enough space to not feel cramped. Plus, being on the Upper East Side means you’re close to some genuinely great museums and restaurants without the Times Square chaos.

  The location is excellent—just a few minutes’ walk to Central Park. While the price is on the higher side, it feels safe and comfortable. The room is very spacious, with enough space to lay out five suitcases without any issues. The heating is cozy, and the automatic curtains are a nice touch. The staff are all very kind and friendly. Highly recommended!

  Location of this hotel was perfect for our visit. It was warm during our visit so walking was easy and spent all of our time on foot exploring the city. The room was equipped with a kitchen which made it nice to make a light breakfast, heat up leftovers and full refrigerator kept everything cold. Grocery store was near by for snacks and meals. Cost was reasonable for size and location.

  Room had space to have bags and lots of wardrobes/shelves so didn’t feel like we were camping out of suitcases the whole week.
