Prince Street’s right there with all the vintage shopping, but you can also just wander down toward Nolita when SoHo starts feeling too much like an outdoor mall. The staff seems to get this too – they’re not overly polished in that corporate hotel way, more like they actually know the neighborhood and can point you toward the good stuff. Check-in was smooth, none of that artificial friendliness that makes you feel like you’re interrupting someone’s day.
