The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was on the 18th floor, and the view was honestly spectacular — floor-to-ceiling windows facing Manhattan with the Statue of Liberty visible in the distance. The beds are comfortable (those crisp white Hyatt linens, you know), and there’s enough space to actually spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. The bathroom was modern and well-lit, which is something I always notice because hotel lighting can be terrible sometimes. Natural light floods through the expansive windows, making the entire space feel bright and inviting throughout the day.

Breakfast here is solid — they do both American classics and a buffet setup, so whether you want eggs benedict or just grab some pastries and coffee, you’re covered. The restaurant has decent food, though I’ll be honest, with all the amazing options in nearby Newport and downtown Jersey City, I ended up exploring more than eating at the hotel. What I really appreciated was the parking situation — having private parking at the hotel is actually a huge deal in this area, especially if you’re driving in from somewhere else. The convenience of on-site parking eliminates the stress of finding street parking in the busy downtown area.
