It’s like they built a little sanctuary right in the middle of Hell’s Kitchen’s beautiful madness.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to be in the thick of things without paying those insane Midtown rates. You’re a quick walk to Times Square (though close enough that you’ll still hear the occasional siren at night – just being real here), but more importantly, you’re right in Hell’s Kitchen where the actual good food is. I’m talking about walking two blocks to some of the best Korean BBQ on 32nd Street, or hitting up those hole-in-the-wall spots on 9th Avenue that locals actually eat at. The hotel sits on a relatively quiet stretch of 35th, so you don’t get the full street noise assault, which – trust me – matters when you’re trying to sleep.

What really sold me on this place was how they handle the whole wellness thing without being obnoxious about it. The fitness center is legit (not just two broken treadmills like some places), and they have these in-room yoga mats that don’t feel like a tourist trap gimmick. The rooms themselves are smartly designed – everything feels intentional rather than cramped, which is saying something for New York. The air purification system actually works too; I could tell the difference, especially coming in from the summer humidity. Staff genuinely seems to know the neighborhood, which is rarer than you’d think. When I asked about late-night food options, the front desk guy didn’t just hand me a generic flyer – he actually recommended the 24-hour deli on 34th that makes surprisingly decent sandwiches. Small thing, but it shows they pay attention. The 8.5 rating makes total sense when you add it all up. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in the city, but it delivers on what it promises without the usual New York hotel attitude.

  The hotel was a very short walk from the train station. The rooms were large by NYC standards and very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. I will definitely stay there again!

  Very well located close to Penn Street Station and to many tourist activities. Rooms very comfortable and pleasantly arranged for layout, lighting etc and equipped for healthy activities such as yoga. Restaurant offered many healthy choices and catered for various dietary requirements. Only 6 rooms on each floor, and rooms very quiet.
