The rooms themselves have this comfortable, lived-in quality without feeling worn down, if that makes sense. The beds are solid – I’m talking actually restful sleep, not just Instagram-worthy pillows – and the bathrooms have decent water pressure, which honestly shouldn’t be noteworthy but here we are in New York where sometimes you get a sad trickle.

What really sold me on this place though is how it handles the chaos of the city. The windows actually block out street noise pretty well, which is crucial when you’re dealing with 55th Street traffic and those lovely garbage trucks at 5 AM. Check-in was surprisingly smooth even during what felt like peak tourist season – no endless lines or attitude from the front desk. And here’s a small thing that probably only matters if you’ve dealt with Manhattan hotels before: the elevators are quick and there are enough of them that you’re not standing around forever. The whole place just feels like it’s run by people who understand that travelers want comfort and efficiency without the fuss. It’s not trying to be the flashiest hotel in the city, but honestly? After a day of navigating New York’s beautiful madness, that’s exactly what you want – somewhere that just works, where the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out during video calls, and where you can grab a decent coffee in the morning without venturing into the Midtown breakfast scrum. The 8.8 rating makes total sense to me; it’s the kind of place you’d actually want to stay at again.

  Hotel room is clean and very spacious. The view from our room was amazing (we were in floor 27) and our stay here was very comfortable. Rooms are pretty well isolated and the Nespresso machine is a big plus 🙂 you can get also coffee and water for free in one of the public floors.
  Location is great. We will definitely come back to Concorde if er ever come back to New York!

  Great location, on site restaurant was really yummy and the coffee was nice! The staff were lovely and very helpful, the hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of NYC but only a 15 minute walk into Times Square and 10 minutes to 5th avenue! The room and bathroom was a great size as well. We loved our stay here and would stay again!
