Comfort Inn Prospect Park-Brooklyn Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Comfort Inn Prospect Park-Brooklyn, you immediately get that “this place knows what it’s doing” vibe. It’s not trying to be something it isn’t — this is a solid three-star hotel that actually delivers on the basics really well. The lobby feels clean and welcoming, and honestly, after dealing with some of the cramped spaces you find in Manhattan, there’s something refreshing about having a bit more room to breathe here in Brooklyn.
The Neighborhood Advantage
Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re right near Prospect Park, which means you get that authentic Brooklyn experience without feeling like you’re stuck in the middle of nowhere. The couples who stay here seem to really get it (they rate the location super highly), and I can see why. You can actually walk to the park for a morning jog, grab coffee at local spots that aren’t tourist traps, and still hop on the subway to get into Manhattan when you want to. It’s that sweet spot where you feel like you’re living in the city rather than just visiting it.
Your Room Setup
The room itself is exactly what you’d expect from a Comfort Inn, but in the best way possible. Clean, comfortable bed, decent-sized bathroom, and — this matters more than you’d think — good water pressure in the shower. I mean, it’s not going to win any design awards, but everything works properly and there’s enough space to actually unpack your suitcase. The air conditioning is reliable too, which you’ll appreciate during those sticky New York summers. Each room is thoughtfully appointed with modern conveniences.
Practical Perks
Two things that make this place stand out: they’ve got parking right on site (seriously, try finding that in most of Brooklyn), and they do breakfast to go, which is actually perfect if you’re planning to explore the city early. No sitting around in a crowded breakfast restaurant — just grab your coffee and pastry and head out. The parking thing alone probably saves you $30-40 a day compared to what you’d pay in Manhattan, and you don’t have to circle blocks looking for a spot. This convenience factor is genuinely valuable.
Why Guests Love It
What really works here is that the hotel gets its role perfectly. You’re not paying for marble lobbies or rooftop bars — you’re paying for a clean, comfortable place to sleep in a great Brooklyn location. The staff seems to understand this too; they’re helpful without being overly formal, and they know the neighborhood well enough to give you actual recommendations. It’s the kind of place where you can save money on accommodation and spend it on experiencing the city instead, which honestly feels like the smarter choice when you’re visiting New York. Guests consistently praise the value and authenticity.

The breakfast was good….it was a plus. The property was very clean but, the space in the room was very small. The front desk agent, Hailey was awesome!! Overall it was a good stay!! I would recommend 8/10.

The hotel is quiet inside. The beds were comfortable and the room was serviced daily. The coffee machine is good. Breakfast was a bit crowded but there was plenty of choice including some hot elements and waffles. The lifts are efficient and large.
There is a subway station about 4 minutes walk away with frequent trains to central manhattan.Alina from United States (7/10)
