The rooms at Aliz Hotel Times Square are what I’d call smart-sized for Manhattan — they’ve maximized every inch without making you feel like you’re sleeping in a closet. The beds are actually comfortable (not always a given in NYC hotels), and the bathrooms are modern with decent water pressure, which honestly feels like a small miracle in this city. What I really appreciated was the soundproofing — you know you’re in New York, but you’re not hearing every siren and honking cab all night long. The decor is clean and contemporary without trying too hard to be trendy, and there’s enough storage space that you can actually unpack if you’re staying more than a night or two.

The breakfast setup here is pretty solid — they do both American classics and a buffet spread that covers most bases. You’re not going to find the most amazing breakfast of your life, but it’s definitely good enough to fuel up before a day of walking around the city.   The location was fab, as it's New York everything is a little small but the room was a good size, the bar and snack shop were well supplied even being small, the bar man new his cocktails. you can ask for more water for the room at reception and your can leave your bags as they have a locked room, plenty of places to eat around from the $1 pizza to whatever takes your fancy.
