Fairfield Inn & Suites By Marriott New York Brooklyn Overview
First Impressions
Walking into the Fairfield Inn & Suites By Marriott New York Brooklyn, you immediately get that clean, reliable Marriott vibe — nothing flashy, but everything exactly where it should be. The lobby’s got a modern feel without trying too hard, and honestly, after dealing with the chaos of getting into Brooklyn, that sense of calm hits just right. The staff actually seems to know what they’re doing, which isn’t always a given in this city. It’s one of those three-star places that doesn’t pretend to be something it’s not, and I mean that in the best way possible.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s the thing about being on 3rd Avenue in Park Slope — you’re in one of Brooklyn’s most walkable neighborhoods, but you’re not paying Manhattan prices for the privilege. The subway’s close enough that you can actually get into the city without planning your whole day around it, and there’s this great mix of local spots and tourist-friendly places right outside your door. Couples seem to really get this location (they rate it super high), and I can see why — it’s got that authentic Brooklyn feel without being too far from everything else. Plus, there’s parking right at the hotel, which honestly feels like winning the lottery in New York.
The Room Experience
The room itself is what you’d expect from Fairfield — clean lines, comfortable bed, and everything works properly. Nothing groundbreaking, but the space feels bigger than a lot of Manhattan hotels, and the windows actually let in decent light. The bathroom’s modern enough, and you know what, sometimes that’s all you need after a long day of walking around the city. The Wi-Fi’s solid, the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a freight train, and there are enough outlets for all your devices — those little things that can make or break a stay.
Breakfast & Practical Stuff
The continental breakfast is pretty standard Marriott fare — nothing that’ll blow your mind, but it gets the job done and saves you from hunting down coffee first thing in the morning. They’ve got the usual suspects: pastries, cereal, fruit, and decent coffee that’ll actually wake you up. It’s served in a bright space that doesn’t feel like an afterthought, and honestly, starting your day without having to venture out immediately is worth something in this city. The whole operation runs smoothly, which I’ve learned not to take for granted.
Why Guests Love It
What really works here is the combination of reliability and location — you’re getting a solid, no-surprises experience in a neighborhood that actually feels like Brooklyn, not some sanitized version of it. Recent guests keep rating the location highly, and after staying here, I get it — you can walk to Prospect Park, hit up the local food scene, and still get to Manhattan when you want to. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it delivers on what it promises, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need when you’re dealing with everything else New York throws at you.

Reviews of Fairfield Inn & Suites By Marriott New York Brooklyn
Boris from Slovakia (8/10)
Location is easily reachable, even by foot from train (short walk from Union, or a bit longer from Atlantic Ave). Upon arrival, I would call it a really warm welcome, in a good sense, here you feel like a real guest, with a small tak we apprieciated. Room was spacious and clean, furniture a bit older (no problem with that), well supplied with amenities. AC working.
At the first look, the breakfast was sufficient unless you're vegetarian or vegan, in that case the offer is slightly limited (but I didn't asked for these options, therefore I am not complaining).
Room service perfect, and when indicated, they respect the privacy. Checkout, again, very friendly with a small talk.
To sum up: really good place to stay.Schaffer from United States (7/10)
