My room was clean and well-designed, with enough space to actually unpack and settle in for a few days. The beds are comfortable — not amazing, but definitely solid — and the bathrooms are modern without trying too hard to be trendy. What I really appreciated was the attention to practical details: good lighting for reading, plenty of outlets, and blackout curtains that actually work. The soundproofing is pretty decent too, which matters when you’re on a busy avenue like Amsterdam. You know what surprised me? The views from some rooms actually give you nice glimpses of the Hudson River if you’re on the right side of the building.

  Great little hotel in Washington Heights. The restaurant is fantastic! The room (twin) small but perfect for our little stay. Included a small fridge which was appreciated. Rooms have an industrial vibe which was cool. Being a good bit away from the tourist traps was actually something we came to really appreciate. Staff were lovely. All in all very chill vibe. Great value for money in my eyes. I’ll be back.
