What I really appreciated was the attention to details that frequent travelers actually care about – plenty of outlets near the bed, decent water pressure, and blackout curtains that actually work. The Wi-Fi was solid too, which… look, it sounds basic, but you’d be surprised how many places still mess this up. Check-in was smooth even during what seemed like a busy afternoon rush, and the front desk folks were genuinely helpful without that overly rehearsed hotel smile thing.   The location really can’t be beat for NYC. You are extremely close to Grand Central, Times Square, Broadway, Central Park… The room was comfy and the best thing was the free laundry (they provide soap and the washer/dryer for free). The staff was great as well — I had an extremely early flight and they arranged to have a cab waiting for me at 4 AM.
