I grabbed coffee most mornings at this little place on 43rd Street (Joe Coffee, if you’re curious) and could be back in my room in under five minutes. The hotel staff seems to get that most guests are either here for shows or business meetings, so check-in is refreshingly efficient – no trying to upsell you on overpriced restaurant reservations or spa treatments. One small thing that bugged me: the elevator can get pretty crowded during peak hours, but honestly, that’s par for the course in this neighborhood. The 7.8 rating feels about right – it’s a solid choice that delivers what it promises without any major surprises, good or bad. For a 4-star place in Times Square, you’re getting decent value, especially considering you’re not paying Plaza Hotel prices but you’re also not dealing with questionable plumbing or mystery stains on the carpet.

  The staff were really friendly and super helpful. The location of the hotel is really handy, and despite being off Time's Square wasn't very noisy. There's a bar next door called the Long Room, which we didn't realise was part of the hotel, but it's really nice too. Room was clean and the toiletries and facilities were very good.
