Here’s what I love about staying on Ludlow Street — you’re literally surrounded by some of the city’s best food and nightlife, but it doesn’t feel touristy or overwhelming. Within a two-minute walk, you’ve got everything from legendary delis to craft cocktail bars that locals actually frequent. The subway access is fantastic too (Delancey-Essex is right there), so getting to Midtown or Brooklyn is surprisingly easy. I mean, couples consistently rate this location a 9.5 out of 10, and after spending time in the area, I totally get why.

The beds here are genuinely exceptional, which matters more than you might think when you’re dealing with New York’s relentless pace. The bathrooms are sleek and modern, though space is at a premium (this is Manhattan, after all).

  Gorgeous design. Very friendly staff. Lovely facilities. Gym on the roof has a brilliant view. Katz’s deli on the corner. Great restaurants in the street. Amazing neighbourhood. Nook with a toasty fireplace in the bar is reserved for in-house guests only which makes you feel at home.
