  Perfect location – Macy’s, Times Square, Empire State Building etc. all within a 10-15 minute walk. The subway (Penn Station) is less than 2 mins walk away which was really convenient for us to travel downtown or uptown to Central Park. I thought the bed and pillows were the comfiest i’ve had at a hotel and the mini-fridge was really useful for somewhere to put our drinks. Local breakfast places within 5-7 mins walk: – Liberty Bagels (delicious) – Best Bagel & Coffee (delicious) – The Bread Factory (great bagels, great service, wide selection of snacks and drinks) – Andrew’s NYC Diner (delicious french toast/omlettes/pancakes, go before 08:00 – 09:30 to beat the queues) My top tip – wake up early to walk across Brooklyn Bridge for sunrise (get a bagel from Liberty Bagels round the corner before it gets busy, jump on the A / C line (middle platform) downtown to High St. Brooklyn and walk back towards Manhattan). You’ll be downtown and can choose to explore Chinatown / Wall Street etc. The location of this hotel makes this really convenient. Other local places: – 7/11 (2 mins walk away, really convenient for us to stock up on snacks & drinks) – Steak Frites Bistro (delicious dinner, 5 mins walk) – 2 Bros Pizza (great for a lunch / quick late dinner) – Jollibee (delicious for lunch) – Madison Square Garden (basketball was fun and the quickest you’ll be home from a sporting event) – Macy’s (go to some shopping! 5 mins walk)
